CAIRO, 26 June 2005 — After recovering from serious injuries from a car accident in Morocco, Egyptian actress Poussy has received the clearance from her doctors to return to acting. The actress has been nominated by director Mohammad Abu Al Suood for the leading role in the upcoming play “Al Balcoona” (The Balcony).
The play is written by French writer Jean Anouilh and will co-star Ali Hasaneen and Caroline Khalil.
Also, Poussy revealed that she will return to the small screen in the new television drama series “Al Hub Baed Al Mudawalah” directed by Tayseer Aboud.
Poussy has apologized to the Egyptian television network for being unable to continue in the production of a show to be aired during Ramadan, due to time constraints.
The show invites superstars to appear as guests, and then attempt to assist the stars in finding resolutions to their problems.
