JEDDAH, 30 June 2005 — Touted as the largest in the Kingdom, the 30-lane Bowling World Center was inaugurated two days ago in time for the Jeddah Summer Festival. In attendance during the opening was Makkah Governor Prince Abdul Majeed.
The gaming center which covers a total area of 2,500 square meters is housed on the ground floor level of the Elysee Printemps, formerly known as Middle East Center on the corner of Siteen and Palestine streets.
Bowling World Center Manager Fares Al-Htailah said the bowling center facilities will be open to individuals and families as well.
In addition to the lanes, Al-Htailah said there are also computer games, pool tables, play station and pool or que bowling for the enjoyment of all.
Also in the drawing board is the staging of bowling competitions in the Arab, Gulf and international level at the center, according to Al-Htailah.
