JEDDAH, 4 July 2005 — Jazan Agricultural Development Company attained a net profit of SR36.5 million in the first half of 2005 compared to SR10.3 million net profit in 2004. This is an increase of 254 percent, Khalid Al-Shethri, chairman of Jazadco, announced yesterday and attributed the increase in profits to the increase of sales by 27 percent for the same period last year in addition to controlled operative, administrative and employment expenses which led to a total income increase of 131 percent compared to the same period last year.
