JEDDAH, 4 July 2005 — Crown Prince Abdullah yesterday reasserted the Kingdom’s resolve to continue its fight against terrorism in cooperation with the United States and other friendly countries. “We’ll continue our efforts with the support of our friends to root out all factors of destruction and terrorism,” he said.
In a congratulatory message to US President George W. Bush on the occasion of his country’s independence day, the crown prince also commended Washington’s “pivotal role” in combating the scourge.
Prince Abdullah said he looked forward to working with Bush in resolving the decades-old Arab-Israeli conflict. “We take this opportunity to emphasize our determination to work for world peace,” he said, adding that the Kingdom would support every effort that leads to peace and ensure honorable life for all peoples.
