RIYADH, 6 July 2005 — Care to know about stocks, mutual funds, inflation?
If you do and even if you are not an accountant, the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) Riyadh Chapter is inviting you to attend its accounting seminar for non-accountants for three consecutive Fridays starting July 15.
The seminar will be held at the Riyadh International School (RIS), near Riyadh-Al-Kharj Hospital (RKH), from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Rolando Bermundo, one of the institute’s officers, said the seminar is a pre-requisite for non-accounting graduates who will attend the Stock Investment Course scheduled in August 2005 for three months during Fridays at RIS.
“The course covers the Stock Investors-Beginner, Understanding Stocks, Mutual Funds, IPO, Inflation, Financial Concepts, Stock Brokers, Tables, Indexes and Scams,” he said.
PICPA-Riyadh also has a cluster program for Peachtree Accounting System in cooperation with the Computer Society of Filipinos (Comsofil) starting Friday, from 3-5 p.m. for 3 months.
