JEDDAH, 7 July 2005 — Managing director of Savola group, Abdul Raouf Manaa, announced that the company bought 30 percent of the Egyptian Fertilizers Company in cooperation with a group of Gulf investors led by Al-Qalaa (fort) Company for financial investments for a total of $110 million (SR412 million). He said that Savola’a investment in the petrochemical and fertilizer sector is part of its strategy in expanding its investments in profitable sectors.
