DUBAI, 11 July 2005 — United Arab Emirates’ property firm Benaa said yesterday it would build one of the world’s biggest golf complexes worth more than 6.5 billion dirhams ($1.77 billion) in Dubai. Dubai Golf City at Dubailand, a multi-billion-dollar residential and leisure development, will sprawl over more than 55 million sq ft (5.110 million sq meter) and will house five golf courses, a golf academy, a resort hotel and spa and shops, Benaa said in a statement.
