CAIRO, 11 July 2005 — Prominent Egyptian actress Nabila Obeid has agreed to take part in a joint Egyptian-Kuwaiti film titled “Lilbai’ lidawa’e El Safar” (For Sale Due to Travel), written by Mohammad Yousef and directed by Khaled Al-Mufaidi.
The plot revolves around a woman married to a successful businessman who lives in Kuwait. After leading a peaceful life for some time, she is suddenly faced with difficult decisions that turn her life around.
Nabila will be living in Kuwait for over a month, and after she has completed filming she will return to Egypt to resume work on her forthcoming film “Ma Fish Ghair Kida” (Nothing More Than This).
The cast of the film has been chosen, and the person who created the rumor was looking to publish controversy, she added.
With regards to Nabila’s opinion towards Ruby as an actress, she cannot judge since she has never seen Ruby’s film “Seven Playing Cards.”
