JEDDAH, 14 July 2005 — A convention of Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) workers will be held in Sharafiya tomorrow at 8 p.m. North Indian leaders including Ishtiaq Ahmed of Kanpur, Yousuf Khan of Lucknow and Sakir Hussein Nadvi of Allahabad will take part in the event. K.P. Muhammad Kutty, president of Kerala Muslim Cultural Center (KMCC) in the Kingdom, will open the event while Abdul Rauf Hudawi will give the keynote speech. The convention is expected to launch a cultural center for Muslim expatriates from the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, coordinator Abdullah Perambra said.
