Once upon a time,

When I had made up my mind,

There were many things to find,

And all of different kind

That time from a dark cloud my enthusiasm was killed,

So I had never willed

With grief my heart was filled,

And then I began to be ill

That time I had no ambition,

No imagination,

My hope was chased,

And thinking erased

I was lost in pain,

Nothing could I gain,

Whatever I tried,

Was all in vain

Then rivers dried,

And innocents were tried,

On people mountains broke,

And then at last I woke

And then my things returned,

A new lesson I had learned,

The sun had brightly shined,

And life became to me suddenly kind

I think the sun will shine;

It can take some time,

But don’t you ever lose your hope,

And fearlessly climb the slope
