JEDDAH, 16 July 2005 — A major recreation center has been opened here with a variety of adventurous games as part of the Jeddah tourism festival.
Covering an area of 80,000 square meters opposite Seraifi Mall, the city is designed by Al-Mughamara (Adventure) recreation group.
It was established after Jeddah Governor Prince Mishaal ibn Majed, who is chairman of the executive committee for Jeddah tourism festival, gave the approval.
According to Albert Jundi, business development manager for the Middle East, said the city comprises 14 large models of varying sizes and attractive games.
“I am sure Saudi and expatriate families will enjoy the recreational and adventurous games including desert drive in the center,” he told Arab News.
He said the company has recruited international experts in adventurous games to enthuse visitors presenting marvelous displays.
He thanked Makkah Governor Prince Abdul Majeed and Jeddah Governor Prince Mishaal for their support. He also disclosed plans to train Saudis on performing adventurous games.
