JEDDAH, 24 July 2005 — Fahad Al-Jarbou, managing director of Saudi Chemical Company (SCC), said that the SCC and its subsidiary, Sitco Pharma, achieved sales of SR456 million for the past six months ending June 30, an increase of SR36 million compared to the same period last year which was SR420 million. He said that the united net profits for the first half of 2005 reached around SR49 million compared to SR11 million for the same period last year, an increase of 345 percent and this is due to the increase in sales and controlling losses resulting from currency fluctuations.
