ABU DHABI, 27 July 2005 — Visiting Australian Prime Minister John Howard discussed here yesterday with UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahayan setting up a free trade agreement between the two states. Talks between the two leaders also focused on regional and international political issues, “particularly the situations in Iraq and Palestine,” said the state news agency WAM.
