JEDDAH, 29 July 2005 — The number of cases received by the preliminary committee at the Ministry of Labor during the last month reached 654 case, 380 of which are by Saudis (58 percent) and 274 by non- Saudis (42 percent). The report issued by the statistics and research administration at the ministry showed that the total number of cases in circulation last month was 777 case, resolved cases were 465 and the remaining cases are 966 case. The cases that ended with settlement were 97 and those appealed were 125 cases. The number of cases forwarded to the higher committee was 156 and those resolved by the higher committee were 140 cases, reported Al-Madinah newspaper.
