HAFR AL-BATEN, 31 July 2005 — Police in Hafr Al-Baten received a phone call from a Saudi citizen reporting a gun attack inside his house, Al-Watan newspaper reported. Police mobilized a large force and went to the location and surrounded the house. A neighbor, shocked at the large presence of police, told police that there was no shooting in the peaceful neighborhood and that the man who called was a mentally ill person. Police put the phone call down as false alarm and took the mentally ill man to hospital for examination.
