NUAIREYA, 31 July 2005 — A stray camel caused more than SR2 million in losses, Okaz newspaper reported. The camel stood in the way of a speeding car transport truck carrying expensive cars from Nuaireya to Riyadh. The driver tried to avoid the camel and lost control of the truck. The truck flipped over causing huge damage to the cars. The driver was unharmed but the damage caused by the camel exceeded SR2 million.
