JEDDAH, 1 August 2005 — The Arab-French Chamber of Commerce signed an agreement with the Arab World Institution two days ago in Paris to organize Arab-European dialogue forum under the title “Sustainable Strategic Cooperation”.
French President Jacques Chirac is sponsoring the Arab-European dialogue with the participation of the National Arab Chambers Union and the Council for Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry. The forum will discuss several issues by economic and political personalities for developing the Arab-European economy by encouraging trade and joint investments.
Dr. Saleh Al-Tayyar, secretary-general of the Arab-French Chamber of Commerce, said that the forum would take place soon and it stresses the important role France plays in supporting Arab issues. Al-Tayyar said that the forum would try to present solutions to many economic and political issues of concern for both sides. Al-Tayyar added that the Arab-French Chamber of Commerce worked at strengthening the relationship between France and the Arab world.
