JEDDAH, 3 August 2005 — The Centennial Fund will begin receiving applications for the second phase after summer vacation. General manager of the fund, Hesham Tashkandi, said that the fund will receive the applications around the hour and not at specified times and the projects would be accepted based on the availability of services to help the project. The 30 projects that were funded in the experimental phase cost SR5.25 million at an average of SR175 thousand per project. Tashkandi said that the Fund is aiming to support 100 projects by the end of the year.
