DAMMAM, 8 August 2005 — The total contracts signed by Amiantit Group during the first half of 2005 reached more than SR794 million for industrial and infrastructure projects in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, the company announced yesterday. This announcement came after the general assembly approved raising the company’s capital from SR770 million to SR1.15 billion. Amiantit is the largest producer of fiberglass pipes and storage items and a leader in producing pipes.
