MAKKAH, 10 August 2005 — Abdullah Al-Khalifa, Saudi researcher at insurance affairs, submitted his study on the organization of Jamarat — the ritual hurling of stones at pillars during one part of Haj, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported. The total cost of this project is SR300 million. The study proposes giving a time period and duration for each pilgrim to perform Jamarat by scheduling the hours and times while taking into consideration the capacity of crowds over the bridge that gives access to the site.
