RIYADH, 10 August 2005 — Wartsila Engineering Corporation of Finland won a contract to establish an electricity station to supply the Riyadh Cement Company, Al-Riyadh newspaper reported. The total value of the contract is $32.77 million. General manager of Riyadh Cement Company (which is to become joint stock company), Dr. Naser Akeel, said that it would take 18 months for the project to complete. The Riyadh Cement Company received its license from the Ministry of Commerce two months ago and has a capital of SR550 million.
