JEDDAH, 11 August 2005 — Syed Esar Hussain Shah, the principal of the Pakistan International School of Jeddah (English section) announced the results of students taking their IGCSE and ‘A’ level examinations. Of the 46 students that took the examinations, the success rate was 100 percent.
“The results are the manifestation of sincerity, purpose and devotion to the cause of education and total commitment on part of the faculty members, the parents and the students of PISJ (English Section),” the principal said. The top four achievers were Raheeba Ali who achieved 6 A*’s, 2 A’s and 1B, Ahsan Kamran with 5 A*’s, 4 A’s and 1 B, Anzal Rehman who got 5A*s, 3 A’s and 3 B’s and Anas Khalil with 5 A*’s, 3 A’s and 1 B.
In all there were seven students of the 46 that achieved exemplary results from the University of Cambridge. Their names are Raheeba Ali, Neha Ansari, Ahsan Kamran, Mohammad Ahmad Tahir Gulzar, Noor Qammar, Anas Khalil and Anzal Rehman. The students who achieved the ICE distinction awards were Abdul Musawir Ghafoor Sheikh, Ahsan Kamran, Anas Khalil, Anzal Rehman and Raheeba Ali. ICE Merit awards were given to Mohammad Ahsan Fawad, Mohammad Javed Iqbbal Sheikh, Usman Mohammad Nooruddin, Enas Liaqat Ali and Sumayya Mehbub.
Eleven students took AS examinations and the result again was 100%. Of the students the best achievers were Mohammad Aijaz Mehmood Khan and Adham Amjad Qureshi who secured the same position.
