CAIRO, 12 August 2005 — Prominent Egyptian singer Hani Shaker’s latest album has been released under “Rosanna Music Production Company,” and not “Rotana,” as circulating rumors claimed.
Hani confirmed that he did not sign a contract with ‘Rotana,’ stating the company failed to make him an offer worthy of his accomplishments and talent as a singer.
Hani has decided to film a music video for the song “Urbi Leek” (My Closeness to You), and will use the clip, to be filmed between Alexandria and Beirut under the direction of Jameel Al Ghazi, to promote his new album.
