RIYADH, 13 August 2005 — Saudi Railways achieved good results in the financial year 2003-2004, Riyadh newspaper reported. The revenues from cargo transport totaled SR134 million, which is an increase of 21 percent over last year. The revenues from passenger transport were SR34.8 million, an increase of 19 percent over the year before. The Saudi Railways will introduce new technologies to improve their performance and to reduce costs.
