AMMAN, 20 August 2005 — The Jordanian minister of transport, Saud Nusairat, announced that the ministry is currently studying connecting railway with neighboring countries including Saudi Arabia, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported. A special Jordanian committee was formed to study offers from companies which will undertake to finish the feasibility study. Three European companies applied for the project.
