JEDDAH, 19 September 2005 — Investcom LLC, an international mobile telecommunications provider, has announced 72 percent year-on-year growth in subscribers during the first six months of 2005. It has also reported a 44 percent year-on-year increase in gross operating revenues and a 56 percent year-on-year rise in EMITDA during the period. The company maintained strong growth across all operating countries, increasing its total customer base number to 3.3 million subscribers at the end of June 2005. This represents an increase of 72 percent on the same period in 2004 (1.9 million), and a 29 percent increase in the six months since the end of 2004 (2.6 million).
