JEDDAH, 25 September 2005 — World Muslim Congress President Dr. Abdullah Omar Nasseef will be the chief guest at a seminar on “Historical links between India and the Arab world” being organized by the Consulate General of India, in cooperation with Saudi-India Business Network, at Trident Hotel at 8.30 p.m. today. Arab News Editor in Chief Khaled Almaeena, Dr. Rashed ibn Hashim Hassan, vice chairman of South Asian Moassassa and professor at King Abdul Aziz University, Siasat (Hyderabad) Editor in Chief Zahid Ali Khan, and Al-Noor International School Principal Professor Abdul Ali will be among the keynote speakers. A book titled “Indo-Arab Ties” containing articles by prominent Saudi scholars will be released by the consulate at the event, which is part of the ongoing India Festival.
