AHSA, 26 September 2005 — The Agricultural Bank’s general manager in Eastern Province, Abdul Aziz Al-Ouwaifer, said that the bank gave more than SR48 million in loans to farmers, Al-Madinah newspaper reported. The loans were provided to support eight agricultural projects. Fishermen in the region also benefited. They received more than SR300,000 in loans.
