JEDDAH, 6 October 2005 — The National Home Health Care Foundation’s annual gala event, the 6th Magic Carpet Festival, will kick off tonight with an official opening by Princess Sarah Al-Anqari, wife of Makkah Governor Prince Abdul Majeed.
The six-day festival will take place in a traditional Ramadan tent on Jeddah’s Andalus Street near Aziziyah Panda Supermarket.
“We are pleased with the preparations,” said Randa Al-Fadul, head of the festival’s organizing committee. “This year we have a lot more events.”
MBC FM announcer Khadijah Al-Wael will interview those taking part in the festival’s various competitions.
The National Home Health Care Foundation is a nonprofit organization.
