ABHA, 26 July 2006 — The highly anticipated albums by Saudi singers Khaled Abdul Rahman and Hussein Al-Ali will not be released until after the summer, the Al-Watan daily reported yesterday.

Both artists were expected to release the albums early this summer. Though Khaled’s album is ready for distribution, the manufacturing company has not been able to decide on an appropriate time for release.

Hussein’s album, on the other hand, is undergoing final touches. He was recording some of his songs in Syria but was compelled to change the location to Dubai following the Israeli attacks in Lebanon.

Khaled is expected to participate in this year’s Abha festival.
