ALKHOBAR, 30 August 2006 — A very familiar figure of the airline industry is leaving the Kingdom for good. Having served Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) in Saudi Arabia for more than 29 years in various capacities, Wazir Ali Raja is now leaving for Pakistan. During his long stay in the Kingdom, Raja worked in all the three main PIA offices in Saudi Arabia (Dammam, Jedddah and Riyadh). Raja, as he is affectionately called, is leaving now on leave prior to retirement (LPR).

Wazir Raja’s last posting in the Kingdom was as manager passenger/cargo sales and services with PIA Dammam. He has been working in this capacity for almost six years (2001 - August 2006). Earlier he worked for PIA Jeddah office for almost 22 years in various capacities. He was also posted in Riyadh during 1986-87.
