RIYADH, 5 September 2006 — ContactPakistan (www.contactpakistan.com), a web-based Pakistani virtual welfare organization, will hold its first women-only health awareness seminar in Riyadh on Sept. 15.
The seminar, arranged by the ContactPakistan ladies wing (Saudi Arabia chapter) aims to create awareness about health aspects among women, Faiz Al-Najdi of ContactPakistan (CP) told Arab News.
The one-day seminar will have three presentations in Urdu by noted women doctors.
Dr. Yasmin Sardar Khan will speak on Menopausal Symptoms and its Management; Dr. Erum Sheikh will give a lecture on Osteoporosis; and Dr. Tehreem Irfan Khan will speak on Iron deficiency Anemia.
The lectures will be followed by a question-answer session where participants will be allowed to ask questions pertaining to their personal medical problems. Free medical tests will also be offered to the registered participants.
The seminar will be open to all Pakistani women, aged 15 and above, who can also bring their spouses with them. Participation in the seminar will be free of charge for CP members. Each registered applicant will also be eligible to bring one woman guest with her.
CP is a non-commercial community-driven entity that operates with the theme “Together We can Make a Difference.” It offers a wide range of virtual help and assistance to its worldwide users that include:

5. CPFora: This is the latest addition to CP line of services wherein the members of the community are provided opportunity to come close to one another.
