KARACHI, 27 August 2006 — Over 40 imams from here, Hyderabad, Quetta and Multan have been booked for infringements of the Loudspeaker Act, while five persons from Karachi and Quetta were also arrested. Police sources said that these cases have been registered in different police stations against the defiant imams and three persons were arrested in Gulbahar, Kalri and Chakiwara areas.
