JEDDAH, 7 November 2006 — The 7th Arab and European Scouts Commissioners meeting concluded yesterday in Hammamet, Tunisia, with Saudi scouts winning the admiration of participants from other countries.
Representatives from eight Arab countries and eight European countries attended the meeting, which began on Nov. 1. Deputy President of the Saudi Arabian Scouts Society (SASS) Abdullah Sulaiman Al-Fahd and Hamad Al-Yahya, the commissioner of foreign relations at the society, represented the Kingdom.
Al-Fahd spoke at the meeting delving on the role of Saudi scouts. He explained the types of programs the scouts participate in.
