JEDDAH, 27 October 2006 — Officials from the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice in Baqaa recently arrested an Indonesian maid for practicing black magic against her sponsor and his family. She admitted to the wrongdoing in front of Sheikh Mutlaq ibn Sameehan Al-Nabit, head of the commission. The Indonesian woman has been transferred to Hail police for questioning. The family, which went through some strange effects and incidents over the past week, suspected the maid when they saw some suspicious materials in her possession, Al-Watan reported yesterday. The maid confessed of practicing black magic on being confronted.
