RIYADH, 1 April 2006 — Sulaiman Al-Habib, chairman of the board of directors of Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib Medical Center, has unveiled a plan to establish six new medical centers at a cost of SR1.2 billion in the Kingdom and the UAE.
“Two projects will be launched in Dubai Medical City while the others will be set up in various parts of the Kingdom, namely Riyadh, Eastern Province and Qasim,” Al-Habib said.
“All the medical services we provide have nothing to do with market segmentation,” he said. “We provide all customers with the same high quality and care. Our different prices depend on the type of treatment and medicine the patient should have but we concentrate on the quality rather than price.”
Nasser Al-Haqbani, deputy executive manager of the medical center, said the projects would include several medical fields, such as a general practice and specialist consultancy in Dubai and a maternity center in Riyadh.
