RIYADH, 3 April 2006 — In the presence of Kingdom Holding Company Chairman Prince Alwaleed ibn Talal, a meeting was held between Chuck Prince, chairman-designate and CEO of Citigroup, Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf, Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) Governor Hamad Al-Sayari and Jammaz Al-Suhaimi, Capital Market Authority (CMA) chairman, and William R. Rhodes in Riyadh on Saturday. Prince expressed the confidence Citigroup had in the strength of the Saudi economy. Talks were also held during the meeting to explore the re-establishment of Citigroup in the Kingdom.
Over 300 Officials Attend ‘GE Day’
RIYADH, 3 April 2006 — For the first time in the Kingdom, “GE Day” was observed yesterday at the Four Seasons Hotel to showcase its businesses that include energy, water, transportation, health care and finance. More than 300 government officials and customers in the related field attended the function which displayed its products and services in more than 10 pavilions. James C.
