JORDAN, 10 May 2006 — King Abdallah of Jordan received Muhammad Abdul Latif Jameel, president of the ALJ Community Services Programs who is currently touring Jordan, at the Raghdan Palace on Monday and discussed various areas where the ALJ Community Services Programs can cooperate with the community programs and training schemes in the country.
Queen Rania also attended the meeting. The king and queen were impressed by the services offered by the ALJ Community Services Programs for the upliftment of the society and described the program as a model for private companies.
Several Saudi youths are being trained in traditional Islamic handicrafts and arts at the Jordan’s Balga University with ALJ program’s financing.
