JEDDAH, 16 May 2006 — Fahd Al-Saad showed why he is the Kingdom No. 1 when he dispatched Omar Al-Thagib in the final of the Mobily Kingdom Open tennis tournament on Friday.

A proud product of the Saudi Tennis Federation Training Center, Al-Saad easily beat Al-Thagib, from Al-Washm Club, 6-0, 6-1.

During the three days competition, Al-Saad won all his matches with conviction and in the final had Al-Thagib gasping in his wake.

Saud Al-Abdulaziz, deputy-general president at the Youth Welfare sports affairs, and Abdulaziz Al-Timammi , deputy-president at Mobily presented prizes to the winners.

Losing semifinalists Salih Al-Rajih from Al-Jeel and Adnan Al-Jaroudi from Al-Qadisiya Club were the two other players to win major prizes.
