MAKKAH, 26 July 2006 — A 25-year-old man allegedly burned down his family home after lashing out violently at his parents and sisters, the daily Al-Riyadh reported.
The father had gone to a local police station to file a complaint against the youth. He returned to his home to see the fire department extinguishing a fire that did minimal damage to his house. Nobody was injured. The son was later arrested and an investigation is under way.
