JEDDAH, 3 November 2006 — Saudi Arabia play an important match against Vietnam today in the AFC Youth Championship in Bangalore, India.

The Kingdom team enter the match with 4 points from one draw against Iraq 2-2 and one win against Malaysia 2-0.

The Saudis need either to win or draw to have any chance of advancing into the quarterfinals. The Saudi eleven are expected to stick to the same formation that they used against Malaysia and Iraq.

Vietnam have three points from two matches, winning against Malaysia 2-0 and losing against Iraq 3-1.

If Vietnam were to advance to the last eight they must win against Saudi.

The other Group D match to be played at the same time as the Saudi-Vietnam tussle sends Iraq against Malaysia.

Iraq have four points from a draw against Saudi and a win against Vietnam. Like the Saudis, the Iraqis will go through with either a win or draw against the already eliminated Malaysia.
