JEDDAH, 15 June 2006 — Security guards stopped a dad kidnapping his own four-year-old son from his estranged wife in a shopping mall in Jeddah on Tuesday, reported Okaz daily. As the man, aged in his forties, made a quick rush with his son the mother began screaming for help. Security guards quickly arrived on the scene and stopped the man leaving. The dad then asked the guards to arrest the mother rather than him. He alleged that his estranged wife and mother-in-law had secretly entered his home the previous afternoon while he was having a nap and taken his son, credit cards and family ID card.
