KUWAIT, 17 June 2006 — Lebanese singer Nawal Al-Zoghbi enthused her fans in Kuwait on Thursday as she attended a special charity concert for the international organization “Sun Good” which helps treat children with cancer.
Nawal has released her latest music video for the single Shu Akhbarak (What’s going on?), with young director Randa, marking their first cooperation together. Filming took place in Lebanon over a period of two days.
The story of the clip revolves around an artist who is obsessed with her career and achieving fame. In the clip, the artist receives a fax from a production company notifying her of her acceptance. She must immediately travel to prepare for her first album, leaving her lover at home.
While she is separated from her love, romantic memories begin to surface in tune with the music and the lyrics of her song.
“This song is romantic, and matches the atmosphere of winter to reflect a beautiful love story,” stated Nawal.
The album is scheduled to be released in September.
