MAKKAH, 21 June 2006 — A Makkah cell-phone thief displayed immense generosity after his victim called the mobile and expressed how important it was for him to get back the SIM card, as it contained an extensive list of contacts, Al-Nadwah daily reported yesterday. The victim even offered a reward to his victimizer. The thief decided, out of the kindness of his heart, to negotiate the return of the stolen goods — some of them anyway. The thief returned the SIM card and explained to the man whose phone he had stolen that the mobile could be purchased from a particular shop in the city’s used-goods market the following Friday. Awww, how generous of him!
