NAWABSHAH, 30 July 2006 — Armed men gunned down six persons yesterday morning near Nawabshah. According to police four men Mumtaz, Jumman, Abdul Karim and Muhammad, all from Sehto clan, were shot dead by armed men this morning near Goth Kando Saeed when they were on their way to court for hearing of a case. Two passersby Shaukat Junejo and Muhammad Ali Rind were also killed in the indiscriminate firing. The incident was a result of old enmity between Sehto and Pario clans that has caused several deaths and injuries.
