JEDDAH, 30 June 2006 — A sleeping mother, annoyed by her two-year-old son wanting to play with her, handed him a packet of tablets thinking they were sweets to keep the child busy while she returned to her beauty sleep, the Al-Watan daily reported. When she awoke the woman was horrified after she realized the sweets were in fact contraceptive pills. She immediately called her husband and both husband and wife took the baby boy to a nearby hospital. The only advice the doctor could give the careless parents was, what happens in the bedroom, should stay in the bedroom.
