JEDDAH, 8 August 2006 — The Masters Academy for fencing and martial arts is to offer a short course on fencing. To begin next week at the academy facilities on Prince Sultan ibn Salman Street north of Jeddah International Convention Center the course aims to promote the sport of fencing in the Kingdom.
Saudi fencing coach Omar Abu Rumayah is in charge of the course spread over four weeks from Aug. 12 to Sept. 6 and open to all nationalities.
The first week will be devoted on orientation and the second, third and fourth weeks on the fencing disciplines of foil, epee and saber in that order.
