The child was crying, weeping and screaming. Limbs, amputated and burned, lay around her. There was only one unharmed body left which was that of her father’s, and she kept pointing at him mumbling in tears, “Film, film my father’s body,” as if she was telling the world, “Wake up from your slumber.”
In the middle of the night, the girl’s screams were tearing apart the silence of my world. Her screams aroused in me the little remaining dignity I had. Her tears reminded me of the cruelest scene I had ever witnessed, a scene that made me cry for long hours out of bitterness and grief. That scene will exist in my memory until I take revenge, the scene in which Muhammad Jamal Al-Durra trembled crying in his father’s arms before a bullet of betrayal and hardheartedness hits him and he drops dead.
The world back then is the same world we live in today, a dark world with many liberals. Those liberals don’t want their voices to be heard or have any means to defend the dignity of this world, nor do they want to confront evil. The day that girl was crying I held my cell phone and sent this text message: “You liberals, look at our humiliation and weakness echoing in the screams of this little child.”
I signed the text message with my name. After a few moments, I received various replies. My honorable sister, Dr. Nora Al-Saad, I don’t know how she received the message, replied: “Are there any liberal people anymore? I swear to God I’m crying my eyes out since I watched this tortured little Palestinian girl weeping next to her dead father’s corpse. Tell the liberals and also the men to bury themselves and cover their faces because there is no time for a liberal attitude anymore.”
But back to the politics that forced us to enter a dark path with one hand carrying the Qur’an that is supposed to enlighten our paths and the other holding a torch that lights up the way for our Ummah to enable them out of this darkness.
I recall once saying that there are people who want to booby-trap Hamas’ victory. This is what the hypocrites, who conceal atheistic identities, do when Muslims assume leadership roles. After Hamas won the elections, some hypocrites began protesting to disturb the peace. Others began making secret telephone calls to ruin Hamas’ plans to create stability. I wonder truly why they do such things?
The answer is simple: If Hamas succeeds in firmly establishing itself in Palestine then the public would take its corrupt predecessors to task and investigate them. If citizens came to know the truth behind such people then their anger would turn into a thunderous tide that nothing could stop. History is witness to such events.
Hypocrites in Palestine used to accumulate millions of dollars in their pockets and no one would dare say anything. Historical and official documents prove what I say. On the same day that Sami Abu Zahra was arrested in Rafah at a crossing point, I saw some of these hypocrites dressed in pride and luxury surrounded by a number of handbag carriers entering royal suites in the same hotel I was in. I said to my wife that day, these are the people who accuse Sami Abu Zahra.
The Zionists, on the other hand, work on the certainty that some Arab governments will not risk upsetting the US by helping and taking a few risks for Hamas. Therefore, they settle Jewish people in safe settlements inside the wall, murder the leaders of the opposition and ignite flames of conflict between the various Palestinian groups.
Our resisting brothers are stuck between two forces. On the one side is the provocation of the hypocrites who don’t care if Palestine falls into a war as long as their interests are protected. On the other side is the provocation of Israel that insists on implementing deceitful plans to exhaust and pressure the resistance.
The Zionists want to show the world that Hamas is against peace. They want to see the Islamic political project, which gained legitimacy through elections, fail. The situation makes the territory’s citizens miserable and hopeless. They feel despondent in finding an Islamic settlement or solution, because the way things are going the Islamic solution seems to end either in early miscarriages or merciless killing.
Nowadays the Zionists control the US and lead it to its destiny. They are going to absorb its blessings until it falls apart just like the Soviet Union. In the meantime, the Zionists have begun directing their funds into countries in Asia, China and others.
