DUBAI, 24 November 2006 — The University of Cambridge honored the Westminster School, a GEMS School, with the “Cambridge Fellowship Center Status” a unique status only 50 schools across the world enjoy, and only two other schools in the region have been bestowed with this honor.
The recognition is accorded to the school for its outstanding commitment to working with the University of Cambridge International Examinations in the achievement of its educational mission.
The award was presented to the Westminster School’s Principal David Morrison by Christine Daw, regional manager — Middle East & North Africa, University of Cambridge International Examinations at a special ceremony held at the school’s auditorium.
