TAIF, 13 July 2006 — A shooting by unidentified assailants left an expatriate dead and his friend, also a foreigner, wounded, the daily Al-Watan reported yesterday without mentioning the nationality of the victims. The two expatriates were walking in the Al-Gaim District in Taif when they came under fire. The surviving victim is being treated at King Faisal Hospital in the city. He could not provide a description of the gunman.
